After going over to eating a lot of plantbased dinners, I find that I often like to add some interest to our dinners. For example by adding toppings like olives, sundried tomatoes or sauteed mushrooms. To be honest, I never really had a clue of how to make mushrooms look so tasty and look beautiful caramalized, but it is really easy. At the same times it really lifts the whole dish to a new level! That’s why I decided to share it with you.
- Melt the butter in a heavy large skillet over medium high heat.
- Add mushrooms and leave for about 7/8 minutes. Check if they are brown by turning one around. If so you can start to turn all of them.
- Add some more butter if needed (I almost always need to).
- Now saute until the other side is brown too and all the juices are evaporated, in total it will take about 15 minutes.
