  • Melt the butter in a heavy large skillet over medium high heat.
  • Add mushrooms and leave for about 7/8 minutes. Check if they are brown by turning one around. If so you can start to turn all of them. 
  • Add some more butter if needed (I almost always need to). 
  • Now saute until the other side is brown too and all the juices are evaporated, in total it will take about 15 minutes.
